Welcome to this, the 40th edition of CSE, a Scopus registered (E-ISSN 2426-1335) magazine which provides the following benefits:

This edition boasts a combination of authors paper as well as the best of papers from Montreal and Trondheim symposia.  All papers have been thoroughly reviewed and the papers from the symposia have been selected by experts attending the events.

Papers include composite insulator assessments, protection practices in New Zealand, and important developments relating to GIS regulations.  In addition micro grids and synchronous condensers are covered displaying innovative designs and metering concepts.

Of particular interest is the work performed by B3.64 on seismic design of substations.  This features results of a survey.

The papers cover aspects of protection, EMT studies, component issues, GIS considerations as well as system design and metering.  They therefore cover most aspects of power delivery displaying the latest innovations and technology.  This will assist readers in staying abreast of developments in this rapidly changing and challenging environment.
