Welcome to this, the 35^th edition of CSE, a Scopus registered (E-ISSN 2426-1335) magazine which provides the following benefits:

This edition contains the “Best of Paris” papers. These papers are the top papers selected by the Special Reporters and SC chairpersons from the papers selected for publication in the latest Paris session held in August 2024.  These papers have not only been through a rigorous review process prior to acceptance in Paris but have also been subjected to discussion and contributions in the Group Discussion meetings.  They have then been selected from the many papers submitted to the Study Committee for the Paris session.  As such the papers are of exceptional quality and relevance.

A paper from each SC is represented in this edition covering all aspects of CIGRE knowledge.  I would urge readers to study papers from other SC’s as well as their own as this will enhance your overall knowledge of the power delivery work currently underway.

As there were many excellent papers presented in Paris two papers per SC were selected.  The remaining papers will be published in the February and June editions of CSE.
